Sun Valley, California (December 2005) - ILLUME, a leading manufacturer of
premium candles, announces the introduction of three new collections for Spring
2006. The three new collections, Pearl, Velas de Casa and His & Hers, will
be sold through ILLUME’s national network of gift shops, fine department
stores and specialty retailers commencing in early 2006.
"Each of the collections tell a unique story and have been designed to meet the needs of the sophisticated candle connoisseur," stated Liz Barrere, Vice President of product development and marketing for the ILLUME brand. "His & Hers is especially unique as it offers two separate candle products with carefully selected scent, that when lit simultaneously, combine to fuse their seductive fragrances into a blend of feminine and masculine aromas. Highlights of the three new collections from ILLUME for Spring 2006 include: 
Pearl: Inspired by South Sea pearls, the Pearl Collection by ILLUME features four new fresh fragrances including Baroque (spicy ginger, clove, cinnamon with a hint of jasmine and rose), Freshwater (white peach, orchid, hibiscus with a touch of vanilla), Tahitian (grapefruit and cassis with undertones of cedar and musk), and Keshi (citrus infused with sandalwood and Arabian clove). Filled-glass candles are packaged in luxurious satin boxes with fragranced pearl beads and coordinating pillars also available.
Velas de Casa: Meaning "candles of the home", the Velas de Casa collection features colorful, authentic motifs in rich, delicious fragrances. Filled-glass candles are available in six difference fragrances including Papaya (tropical papaya and guava with a sheer green note), Oceano (leafy greens and summer fruits accented with jasmine and white musk), Flor del Sol (a fun combination of bergamot, peach and melon), Pina Cilantro (bold scents of pineapple and fresh cilantro), Flamenco (orange blossom and pineapple blended with honeysuckle and wild orchid) and Sangria (strawberry, orange and black currant with a hint of vanilla).
His & Hers: This two-wick, elegantly designed oval glass set features two distinctive fragrances: His, Seduction, utilizes exotic spices and precious woods that have been layered with rich white musk; Hers, Affection, is a romantic blend of Tahitian vanilla, spun sugar and a hint of coconut cream. Its multi-functional chocolate brown lid compliments the look while adding versatility as a coaster.
